Warranty

All repairs carried out by Synchronics Electronics Pvt. Ltd. carry a standard 6-month in-service warranty from the date of dispatch. If the same fault recurs within this period under normal operating conditions, we will re-repair the unit at no additional labour charge (subject to our Warranty Policy terms). The warranty period does not reset on a re-repair — it continues from the original dispatch date. For certain complex, multi-fault, or high-risk units, a shorter warranty period may apply; this will be stated clearly on your repair invoice at the time of dispatch.
The standard warranty covers the specific fault(s) repaired and any directly related component failure attributable to the repair work performed by our engineers. Coverage includes parts replaced during the repair, PCB rework and soldering carried out at our facility, and functional faults arising from the same root cause. Re-repair under warranty is carried out at our facility; inbound and outbound freight charges are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The warranty does not apply to: (a) new, unrelated, or secondary faults that develop independently after the repair; (b) damage caused by incorrect re-installation, improper application, over-voltage, power surges, electrical transients, or environmental factors such as moisture, dust, vibration, or corrosive atmosphere; (c) physical damage to the unit after it leaves our facility; (d) consumable items with a defined service life (fans, batteries, display backlights, capacitors beyond the repaired section); (e) faults caused by operation outside the equipment's rated specifications; (f) any unit that has been opened, modified, or subjected to repair attempts by a third party after we have returned it.
Shield Plus is our optional 12-month extended protection plan, available as an add-on at the time of repair completion. Under Shield Plus, your unit receives 12 months of in-service warranty coverage from the date of dispatch instead of the standard 6 months. The plan includes one priority re-repair (queue jump) within the coverage period and covers the same scope as the standard warranty. Shield Plus is offered on eligible equipment categories and is subject to availability; please enquire at the time of repair authorisation. The plan fee is quoted separately and added to the repair invoice.
Shield Pro is our premium 18-month extended protection plan (6 months standard + 12 months extended) for mission-critical equipment where production downtime risk is highest. Beyond the extended 18-month coverage window, Shield Pro customers receive priority diagnosis and turnaround (target 3–5 working days for re-repairs), a dedicated service contact, and preferential pricing on any unrelated repairs raised during the plan period. Shield Pro is available on selected equipment types and must be opted for at the time of the original repair. Plan details, eligibility, and pricing are provided on request. All plans are subject to our standard Warranty Policy terms and exclusions.
Email email@synchronics.co.in or call +91-704-308-4455 with your original repair invoice number, a clear description of the fault observed, and the operating conditions at the time of failure. Our team will assess the claim and advise on the next steps, including dispatch instructions. Please do not attempt to open or repair the unit prior to returning it under warranty — doing so will void the warranty. Claims raised after the warranty period, or for faults excluded under the policy, will be quoted as chargeable repairs.
