Technical QC / QA Engineer (Electronics)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• 1Perform detailed quality checks and comprehensive functional tests on repaired industrial electronic instruments including PLCs, HMIs, drives, power supplies, SMPS, and control boards
• 2Collaborate closely with repair technicians and engineers to validate repair quality, approve completed work, and identify rework requirements
• 3Read, interpret, and apply technical datasheets, service manuals, schematics, and manufacturer test procedures to develop and execute test protocols
• 4Operate and maintain various testing equipment, test jigs, and simulation tools to replicate actual field operating conditions and stress-test repaired equipment
• 5Document all test results systematically, identify root causes of failures or inconsistencies, and provide actionable feedback for continuous process improvement
• 6Maintain detailed QC records and prepare quality reports that track defect trends, identify systemic issues, and support corrective action initiatives
• 7Stay current with industry standards, quality benchmarks, and testing best practices to enhance departmental capabilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in electronics quality assurance, testing, or repair operations
• Proven experience working in industrial electronics repair, service centers, or manufacturing QC environments
• Strong working knowledge of industrial control systems: PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, SMPS power supplies, and control boards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation including datasheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
• Systematic and methodical approach to quality checking with strong attention to detail and accountability
• Excellent documentation and communication skills with ability to prepare clear test reports and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and take ownership of quality outcomes
