Our engineers measure your pulley grooves, verify belt length and cross-section, and install replacement belts with proper tensioning to prevent premature failure.

For Hutchinson elastomer couplings, component-level repair is possible. If the elastomer insert is cracked but the metal jaw hubs are undamaged, we source and install a new OEM Hutchinson elastomer element and rebalance the coupling. However, if hub bores are enlarged, splines are stripped, or the coupling has suffered torsional overload, replacement with a genuine Hutchinson coupling is necessary. We advise customers on the most cost-effective option.

Common warning signs include visible spring sagging, inconsistent belt tension (measured with tension gauge), belt slippage under load, or grinding noise from the tensioner idler roller. Synchronics technicians perform free diagnostic testing using precision tension gauges and bearing spin tests. If the spring is weak but the roller bearing is serviceable, we replace only the spring assembly, saving cost. If the bearing is seized or severely damaged, the entire tensioner unit must be replaced with an OEM Hutchinson unit.

Repair cost depends on the model and the fault. We offer a free diagnosis — once we identify the fault, we provide a fixed quotation before proceeding. Typical repairs cost 20–40% of the new unit price. We will never repair without your approval.

All repaired units carry a 6-month comprehensive warranty covering the same fault and related issues. If the fault recurs within the warranty period, we repair it free of cost.

Yes. If we cannot repair your HUTCHINSON unit after diagnosis, you pay only the diagnosis fee (₹500–₹1,500 depending on the product). The unit is returned to you at no additional charge.
