After replacing a worn or drifted EM or EL probe, LANDTEK instruments require full zero-point and full-scale calibration using certified coating thickness standards (0 µm baseline, typically 25, 50, 100, 250 µm reference blocks). Synchronics performs this multi-point calibration for all LANDTEK gauge models and issues ISO 9001 calibration certificates traceable to national standards. We maintain a library of LANDTEK standard reference blocks for precision validation.

For transducer replacement and acoustic re-coupling, turnaround is 24-48 hours depending on parts availability. If only firmware or LCD module repair is needed, we complete work in 12-24 hours. All LANDTEK UT meters are tested on calibration test blocks before return shipment. Repair cost depends on the model and the fault. We offer a free diagnosis — once we identify the fault, we provide a fixed quotation before proceeding. Typical repairs cost 20–40% of the new unit price. We will never repair without your approval.

All repaired units carry a 6-month comprehensive warranty covering the same fault and related issues. If the fault recurs within the warranty period, we repair it free of cost.

Yes. If we cannot repair your LANDTEK unit after diagnosis, you pay only the diagnosis fee (₹500–₹1,500 depending on the product). The unit is returned to you at no additional charge.
