PCBReverseEngineering
While others swap components and pray, we extract the complete schematic — then repair with mathematical certainty.
OEMs guard their schematics as trade secrets. We don't need them. Our engineers decode every trace, every via, every layer — and build our own.

The Industry Problem
90% of repair shops are
guessing. We are not.
Without schematics, a repair technician is blind. They swap parts one by one hoping something works. That's not engineering — that's gambling with your production downtime.

How We Decode Any PCB
A systematic, scientific protocol — applied to every board, every time.
Board Receipt & Visual Mapping
Every PCB is photographed at macro resolution. Components are catalogued — ICs, passives, connectors, test points. The board is cleaned, measured and all layers documented before a single probe touches it.
Schematic Extraction & Trace Mapping
Our engineers trace every copper path from component pin to component pin — up to 7 layers deep. Signal names are assigned based on IC datasheets, pin functions and cross-references. The complete schematic is drawn in EDA software.
Waveform Capture on Healthy Boards
When a healthy reference board is available, our team captures oscilloscope waveforms at every critical test point — power rails, clock signals, data buses, gate drives. These become the "golden reference" stored permanently in our database.
Custom Test Jig Fabrication
A dedicated test jig is built for each board type — connectors aligned, power supplies matched, load circuits replicated. The jig allows us to power, probe and stress-test a repaired board in 100% replication of field conditions.
Database Entry & Knowledge Compounding
The completed schematic, waveforms, test procedure, component BOM and known-failure patterns are entered into our proprietary database. The next time this exact board — or a similar one — arrives, diagnosis takes hours, not days.
Our Proprietary Asset
The Schematic Library
No One Else Has
Built over 32 years, one board at a time. Every repair makes us sharper. Every schematic makes the next repair faster.

The Compounding Advantage
Every new board we repair — even a first-time model — gets added. The 16,000th schematic costs us almost nothing to create. A competitor starting today cannot catch up for decades.
The OEM Reality
Your OEM will never share the schematics.
Circuit schematics are the crown jewel of an OEM's intellectual property. Sharing them means enabling repairs without their involvement — something they'll never allow.
So when your drive fails and the OEM says "3 months repair time at ₹4 lakhs", you have no leverage. Unless you call us.
"OEM schematics are confidential. We cannot provide circuit diagrams for repair purposes. Please contact your authorised service partner."

Synchronics' Answer
We carve out our own schematics. 15,000 times over. The OEM's refusal is our opportunity.
Inside Synchronics
A Dedicated Department
No Other Repair Company Has
Reverse Engineering is not a side activity at Synchronics. It is a standalone department with specialists, equipment and processes dedicated to decoding boards.

Schematic Tracing Workstations
Dual-monitor EDA setups, live PCBs, probes

India's Only Dedicated RE Department
12+ full-time reverse engineers, 32 years of expertise
Multi-channel Oscilloscopes
500MHz bandwidth instruments for capturing fast digital signals, PWM waveforms, and gate drive pulses with precision.
Logic Analysers
Capture and decode SPI, I²C, CAN, Modbus, PROFIBUS communication frames to understand data bus behaviour.
EDA Schematic Software
Professional circuit capture tools. Every reverse-engineered schematic is drawn, net-listed and stored in industry-standard formats.
Microscopy & X-ray
Inspect BGA solder joints, trace widths and via fills. Identify hidden failures invisible to the naked eye.
Proprietary Failure Database
Failure modes, known-bad component batches, and fix procedures logged and cross-referenced for every board family.
Dedicated Engineering Team
12+ full-time engineers whose sole focus is reverse engineering — not repairs, not customer service. Just decoding boards.
Why This Is Irreplaceable
A Moat That Takes Decades to Build
15,000 schematics represent 32 years of reverse engineering. A competitor starting today with 10 engineers would need 20+ years to match our library. This advantage is permanent.
Speed Compounds with Every Repair
Repair #1 for a new model: 5 days. Repair #2 of the same model: 6 hours. Repair #100: minutes. Our database makes us faster as we grow — not slower.
Certainty, Not Chance
When our engineer starts a repair, they know the expected output voltage at TP-34, the clock frequency at TP-19, and the PWM duty cycle at gate G7. There is no guessing.
